Harry potter Sound Evaluation

Evaluation

For the credit sequence we started with a quite and peaceful sounds of the piano to create suspense as the movie begins this is to start the movie in a quite way. We then used a sound which got louder as the camera came closer to the title , 'Harry Potter'. This was to make the audience feel like somethings coming closer as the movie is starting. On effectiveness i feel the sequence was 7 out of 10.
for the playground sequence we tried using a happy sound/music to show bright sunny day till we saw Harry, we lowered the music as the mood was not as happy as the day seem to be. I think this sequence was 5 out of 10 on effectiveness.
Unfortunetly we did not have enough time to do sound for the demontors sequence. But i feel for this sequence we would have used a fast sound to show fear and danger.
overall i feel i could have made the playground scene better and make it more relating to the scene as it did not sound much related. However i did feel that the start of the film was quite good.

  1. I'm glad to see you've done this work. You cover the aspects you did complete sufficiently. It is good to see you evaluate your progress too. When you write in the future - think how you can expand what you have written - add one thing more per point for example or use more detailed words - like menacing instead of scary for example.
Use spellchecker - this will go to the exam board so you need to observe Standrad English rules.
